I strongly believe in the value of education. This belief has been the foundation of my success, as well as a factor in my move toward tax planning and retirement planning for retirees.

In 1985 I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in business. Since then I have continued to further my education through financial education designations. I hold the Certified Financial Planner (CFP(R)), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC(R)) and Certified Life Underwriter (CLU(R)) designations.

When I graduated from college, I knew I wanted to be an Independent Financial Planner. My father was always an independent man and an entrepreneur who inspired me to enter the financial services industry. I recognized that i would be a better financial planner for my clients if I first acquired quality training and experience from successful financial companies.

I began my career at Kemper Financial Services in Chicago, in the retirement investment division. In my years with Kemper and in my other management positions at Zurich Life and Harris Bank in Chicago, I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in investments, retirement planning, tax planning, income planning, life insurance, estate planning and banking.

I believe strongly that my success is due to my interest in education and service to my clients. I hope you will catch my enthusiasm for learning and continue to expand your financial education.
